Dr. Gordon, Director Emeritus of the Gordon Institute for Advanced Study at Teachers College, Columbia University, pioneered using data and evaluation to improve equity in education. He served as the first Director of Research and Evaluation for the federal Head Start program. His work and mentorship have influenced generations of researchers and education leaders.
